About the University
The University of El Daein is a public university affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It was established by law in August 2015 as part of Sudan’s strategic vision and ambition for higher education. Located in East Darfur State, the university comprises several faculties and advanced research centers dedicated to linking scientific research with the needs of society and the state. It expands access to higher education and modern knowledge for a larger number of Sudanese students—both male and female—particularly from East Darfur.
